2017 NFWI Annual Meeting

The 2017 Annual Meeting was held at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on Wednesday 7 June. The meeting was attended by approximately 4,300 members and guests.

Guest speakers Jo Fairley, author and co-founder of Green & Black’s Organic Chocolate and Susie Dent, author and resident dictionary expert on Channel 4’s Countdown delivered inspiring and engaging speeches. The Mayor of Liverpool also attended and delivered a warm welcome to all attendees.

Two resolutions were put forward for debate and voting at this year’s Annual Meeting; both resolutions were carried and campaigns will now be launched by the NFWI Public Affairs Department.
